State Fair

     Our State Fair is a Great State Fair!      This week's blog post will be a little bit different. The musical review will be about State Fair, but not at the Broadway level. My owner, Grace, landed a role in the production when her local community theatre performed this show in the summer of 2019. This review will be pretty light-hearted, and won't focus on the talents of local actors or have my typical ratings, but will focus more on the events of the show. I'll include some facts about different productions, but for the most part this post will be about the local community show. The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical

     Oh Gods!      Calling all fans (and soon-to-be fans) of Percy Jackson! Did you know there is a Percy Jackson musical ? This story is a stage adaptation of the book The Lightning Thief by author Rick Riordan. If you're a fan of the book, you will definitely appreciate the musical. There's a film version of The Lightning Thief as well. If you've read the Lightning Thief before, I'd love to hear your thoughts on how the musical compares to the book!
