Here's a little guide for some things I may say where the meaning may not always be clear. OBC = Original Broadway Cast Rating scales = range from 1 to 5, 1 being "did not meet standards," 5 being "exceeded standards," and 3 being the basic standard. Cat rating = based off of how many cats are in the play, the presence of cats in the play, the necessity of cats in the play, and if adding a cat to the play would have improved it Best song/actor/set = all my personal opinion! The history section will not be too long, as the purpose is to inform you of my personal thoughts of each performance.
I Object! Welcome back to another musical review! This week I'll be covering the Legally Blonde musical, which is based off of the movie of the same name. This show follows the story of Elle Woods as she chases her ex-boyfriend off to Harvard Law School in an attempt to win him back. If you've seen (and enjoyed) the original film, I guarantee that you will enjoy the musical version. The plot remains iconic, but the added energy from live performing is unmatched.
